Sour Diesel description

Sour Ripper is one of the varieties most valued by genetic collectors in the Ripper Seeds catalog: one of the few Sour Diesel lines available in feminized version that keeps the main qualities of a good Sour D, the most underground flavor of the United States, without sacrificing either the aroma or the potency that have made this genetic line a legend.

Ripper Seeds’ selection work has also managed to improve bud structure and compactness compared to the original Sour Diesel, making the variety more manageable and appealing without losing a single nuance of its sour, citrusy and fuel character.

SOUR RIPPER, a variety that blows your mind.

Sour Diesel genetics

Sour Diesel (Ripper Seeds selection)

After a long process of work on one of the most authentic Sour Diesel lines available, Ripper Seeds managed to stabilize it in feminized version while keeping its two essential qualities: flavor and potency. The selection starts from a Sour D with the full sour, citrusy and fuel profile characteristic of the Chemdog lineage, and improves its bud structure to make it more compact and productive than the original version.

• Authentic Sour Diesel lineage
• Chemdog heritage
• Feminized selection that keeps flavor and potency
• Improved bud compared to the original

Aromatic and terpene profile

The most underground profile of the United States at its best: sour, citrusy and with fuel notes, very dense and complex, with the characteristic presence of the Chemdog lineage that fills the space and doesn’t go unnoticed. Its aroma combines a sharp, lively sourness with a base of gas and fuel that gives the blend weight and character, plus a fruity touch that softens the profile without taking away a single gram of intensity. Suitable for extractions, where its terpene load unfolds in full force.

• Sharp, sour tartness
• Lively citrus
• Chemdog gas and fuel
• Fruity touch
• Dense, complex profile with great presence
• Suitable for extractions

Sour Ripper effects

The effect is intense, cerebral and stimulating, accompanied by a most pleasant physical relaxation that balances and softens the mental impact. A sativa with real potency that activates the mind with energy and clarity while delivering a pleasant, non overwhelming body sensation at the same time.

• Intense, stimulating cerebral effect
• Energy and mental clarity
• Pleasant physical relaxation
• Strong, lasting potency

Growing

Sour Ripper has a sativa structure with long internodes and little foliage, with a more compact, appealing bud than the original Sour Diesel. Its flowering period is 65 to 70 days indoors, placing it in the standard range for a sativa of this lineage, but with an improved bud expression that justifies the selection work. Outdoors it’s ready for harvest in October and offers a very high yield both indoors and outdoors.

• Indoor flowering: 65 to 70 days
• Outdoor harvest: October
• Indoor yield: very high (500 to 600 g/m²)
• Outdoor yield: very high (400 to 1,000 g/plant)
• Sativa structure with long internodes
• Little foliage, compact and improved bud
• Suitable for extractions
